Vinsanity

Vince Carter, my favorite athlete, has a chance to opt out of his contract before July 1, 2007 which he probably will. I just hope he will get an offer from a contender, and that he will join them instead of going back to New Jersey. There is 2 big problems with the Nets. One is that they don't really have a low post threat. The best low post threat Carter had was Antonio Davis in the Toronto years. And Davis only averaged 16 points on 49% shooting as a power forward. Second, Lawrence Frank never gets in Carter's face when he shoots bad shots. We all saw how good he was at the end of the season. In his last 15 games, he averaged 35 points, 10.2 rebounds, and 8.9 assists. But in the playoffs, it's a whole different story, he doesn't drive as much and he takes bad shots resulting in a 6 for 23 shooting night in Game 5 versus the Cavs. So, here goes to hoping that Carter leaves New Jersey, and goes on to a title contender since he's turning 31 on January 27, 2008.
