Sony missed the whole iPod wave entirely even though they had the brand (Walkman), the content, the distribution, and the technology. Their ex-CEO said it was because of poor communication between the groups. Now I have to turn my Sony TV off and on and hope it will magically start playing the sound from my Sony PS3. Not cool.

When you press the home button on the PS3 which will bring up the cross media bar menu (or XMB for short) go to the most left option, you can create different users there and every user will get his / her own savegames and trophy collections. This way you can have multiple saves for everyone.

About the second question, sorry, can't answer it for the specific game, but usually two player splitscreen indeed is more and more dropped by many publishers these days unfortunatly, though on this forum a lot of threads are swirling around where exactly this question is asked and answered which games feature this.

Hope I could be of some help.

Sorry for the entry level question, but I just got my first PS3. My kids plays the Transformers Dark of the Moon game. I can't figure out if it is possible to have different campaigns saved for different users. It seems like there is only one file for all users, so you can't save checkpoints for one campaign for one user, and another scenario for a different user. Annoying if true. Also, it looks like the only way to play multiplayer is to sign in to the PS network. I haven't figured out a way to get into multiplayer mode just using my two remotes. Would be cool to be able to fight each other or team up. Is there any way to do that or do you always have to sign into the PS network to get multiplayer mode? Maybe some of this is dependent on the game. I have no experience at all so don't know. Thanks in advance.
