Civ IV on the PC definatley trumps the PS3 version in a comparison. The game is just so much deeper on the PC. There is more customization of your empire with things like civics, religions and corporations which come with the Beyond the Sword expansion. There are more units, its moddable, and while the graphics may not be quite as nice as the PS3 they are still good and can support lots of players way more than the 5 (including the player) in civilization revolution. The game is simpler on the PS3 as their is no workers to worry about (although i usually just automate them anyway) or riots or anything but you can launch all the nukes you want as long as the non proliferation doesnt pass, which is a big bonus to the one nuke allowed in civ rev, i mean who doesnt like just nuking your enemy into the ground?
I've had four 360's die on me in the past 3 yeas, 2 RROD, two E74 i have tried everything i can to extend the life of the machine but it just seems like I keep getting ones from that supposed 60% (I think thats pretty high but not as high as my 100% failure rate so far)
There are way more people online on XBL than the PC, its a pretty huge gap one time i was playing there was like 60,000 playing on PC and i went to switch over to xbox and there was around 450,000 playing. I Have noticed the PC has some bugs that the console doesnt have sometimes the matchmaking will get caught in a loop and you have to back out and then go back in, not anything gamebreaking just annoying, i have noticed way more lag on PC version in comparison to Xbox, perhaps not enough good hosts are online or it has something to do with IWnet idk for sure. I've also noticed its faster usually getting into a game on the PC version but they are pretty close to one another most of the time. If you have more friends on xbox live then definately go for that otherwise i'd recommend the xbox over the PC but i can't stand SDTV grahpics, HDTV got my spoiled lol
