Love Shyness

I was reading this article on Wikipedia about love shyness after reading about the 40-year-old-virgin movie. I seem to relate in a lot of the definition. I can't really debunk most of the characteristics (except maybe the favorite movies thing, I only like the Graduate and I don't like musicals). From the Wikipedia article: -He is male. -He is a virgin. -He is a person who very rarely goes out socially with women. -He is a person without a past history of any emotionally close, meaningful relationships of a romantic and/or sexual nature with any member of the opposite sex. -He is a person who has suffered and is continuing to suffer emotionally because of a lack of meaningful female companionship. In short, he is a person who desperately wishes to have a relationship with a woman, but does not have one because of shyness. -He is a man who becomes extremely anxiety-ridden over so much as the mere thought of asserting himself vis-a-vis a woman in a casual, friendly way. This is the essence of "love-shyness". -He is a man who is strictly heterosexual in his romantic and erotic orientations. In other words, he is a person who is in no way a homosexual. My own stuff: -I like to watch romantic comedies. -I think about women all the time. -I have a favorite supermodel (who the f*** has a favorite supermodel?). -I'm an only child. -I believe every part of a woman is beautiful (if the woman is beautiful to begin with--let's be reasonable here). -My standards in who is attractive seem kind of low in comparison to my peers -The stories I write seem to always have really beautiful females of adult age (I was trying not to type woman again. Oh wait...). I just wanted to put this up since it was on my mind for so long.
