So it's 1:30 AM, I have a rendez-vous at the Optometrist tomorrow at noon and I'm not really sure I want to go to bed. So what do I do to pass the time? Why, write a blog obviously!
It's great, because I had an Xbox 360, but I'm switching to a PlayStation 3 now. I feel kind of bad about it though. I mean, the 360 has offered me a ton of great games, some really cool friends online and some pretty fun features, but, ..., well, here's the story.
The time is Mid-June, I'm playing... what was I playing... Forza 2, yes. I'm playing Forza 2, customizing a Nissan R390 when my screen locks up. I reboot the 360, go back into the game, I start a race, the screen freezes again. I call Xbox Customer Support (Whom I had on Speed Dial I had to call so often) and they tell me I need to get it fixed. I had just got Forza 2, so I was kinda tweaked off, but okay. I send the console in, getting ready to play FM2 in a few weeks. The time is mid-July, I call Customer Support and they tell me they haven't recieved my console yet. I **** Alot. Mid-August, they tell me they just got my console. What the hell. So, lots of ****ing and other crap later, I get my console back around the 30th of August. Grr. But I'm happy! I get to play BioShock! I play 4 hours of BioShock, only to have the new, fixed console break. Total shutdown, it won't turn on. No power. Nothin'. Great.
Unfortunately for Microsoft, I swore to myself before I got this new console that if ever a new, repaired console was to break in the most stupid, ridiculous way, I'd give up and sell my 360 for a PS3... and that's what I did.
So now, I'm waiting on my PlayStation 3, of which I can't wait to check out Warhawk, skate and DiRT. I'm sad to see my 360 go, but I'm happy to see a new console walk in, one that the brand's previous legacy has been worshipped in this househole for many years. So when I get my PlayStation 3 ... what should be later today hopefully, if you're looking for one more dude on your PSN friends list, 'paramnesia', I'll see you online :)
Now I'm going to go to bed, I'm hella tired.
