Any specific games you care to mention?I used to come to this site for the game reviews, but in the past year, it seems that almost 90% of reviewed games get a 7.5 or 8.5 game rating. why? i'm pretty sure most of these games are not that good. is gamespot afraid to throw the dirt on these games all of a sudden?

I suspect for their small filesizes or possibly better streaming support. But I wouldnt know for sure, not an expert or privvy to Gamespots decision-making processes.
I like this idea, though it probably wouldnt affect me that much.
If such an idea was implemented Id dare that some sort of weighting system would have to be used. Some factors that could be used in the weighting could be:
- Member Union affliation of both source and target - same union, less weighting
- Member Reputation of the source - the higher the more weighing
- Number of member (reviews) likes/dislikes against target - i.e. more thumbs up, the less weighting
- Frequency of member interaction with target - more interaction, less weighting
and so on.
Source is the user who is doing the interaction that will affect the person being targetted.
Target is the person action is going to affection reputation.
- Hope that makes sense!
Forgive me if this has been posted before, but I would like to see the entries in the I am Following List, pruned once they are no longer being updated,
Does something like this already occur? Havent noticed it. Especially given that this list is responsible for the Updates we get. Is that right?
I originally thought that once the gamehas been out for a month, the game should be automatically removed, though perhaps the length of time could be a setting on the players profile options page - default a month.... or could be set to increments of weeks instead. Or perhaps for games that have come out, had the usual cacophony of updates fade away, perhaps have the auto-deletion feature only remove it after 4weeks after the last official update.
Or perhaps have a prompt or subscreen to show the gamer, which items are about to be wiped from the list! Id certainly like to see this list auto-pruned to save me the trouble.
Just an idea.
I support this too. I have a fair bit of throughput on my lists so, over time this constant maintenance builds up.
Perhaps have a preference option to allow people to choose between automated inclusions in a checklist and not.
Im sure that something like this has probably been asked before. Im disappointed with the raptr achievement system, in that its mainly a Console thing. It doesnt even have Windows live as an option.... What Id like to see is an additional option for each game, wherebyan option is presented that a user (i.e. me) can tick/click-on to show they havecompletedthat game.
It would work just like the Collection, Follow, etc options, but would show that the game was Completed.
Does this make sense?
Darksomething...I forgot the whole name, but it was good for an "arcade" spacesimmrbojangles25Dark Horizon,if its recent! Ive played WingCommander: Privateer if that counts, Freespace 2, X-Wing (& Tie-Fighter & Alliance) - all amazing in their day. Picked up an old copy of Independence wars 2.... Need to see if I can get that to work!
