Pretty much all the games that have been mentiond are all great, BUT!! No one mentioned Monster Hunter!... WHAT ABOUT MONSTER HUNTER?!?!MasterJosho

Unfortunately it seem MH is not popular in North America... I heard the PSP version for MH reached 1 million copies in Japan(the first time for PSP title in Japan). Hope to see more people playing addictive MH as well.

Anyway for me, DQ8 all the way for the best ps2 rpg.

Persona 3 for this summer, and FFXII when it comes as a GH(not so soon I guess)

Other candidates are Rogue galaxy, valkyrie profile 2, odin sphere, kingdom hearts 2(GH), okami, ... man this list seems endless(even though all of this list are RPG except Okami)

 Still have good games to buy before I go into next gen games... I am a nintendo fan but I can't deny there are so many good PS2 games.

Try to get all hourglass that extends time limit and bonus pts per kill in treasure box. Getting locations of these items is important.

U can get highers scores in Castle... for me I got 190K in Castle. (other areas are like 100K~130K)

All of them are jewels of PS2 game, but I would vote DQVIII

 It is an absolute classic. Adventuring DQ world never get bored.
