In order to get a checkpoint you have to kill every enemy in the area you are in. Throw C4s on the cars then when your going to pick the guy up blow up all the cars and it will wipe out all enemys near by, if timed right then the next bunch that come will get killed by your team mates.
Why don't you just play them at the games they've got? Its not the end of the world if they don't want to play Halo 3 or Orange Box. I hate both games so i wouldn't try and get my friends to play them.

Check the sellers feedback score and if in the description he sounds genuwine then go ahead with the deal.
