-Exercise self control, stand up for what you believe in

-Buy used. GS just did a whole segment about buying used and how developers don't see a dime of it.

-Don't buy DLC.

-Learn to like new genres.

-Write the developers/create petitions instead of posting on the GS forums...

And therein lies the problem. Everyone gets all upset and excited about being ripped off, but at the end of the day, you can't perform a boycott.

People just HAVE to have the game, regardless.

Yeah, this bro pretty much nailed it. SH is dead, but this is a perfect stand in. Think SH 1 or 2.

Easy solution to make this trend stop: Boycott the offending games. Done.
