yeah its like they just got all the infrastructure in there so they can patch it workable later on. I dont know why they did this. just gets them bad reviews and fewer sales when they coulda just put 2-3 more months work in and have more ready at launch. Shame on them. But there will be much improvement. I see the ps3 score getting 3-4 points higher than the pc review minimum from gamespot. just my opinion

so with things fixed and worked on (SE says BIG patches every 3 months even though they patch like every week) the ps3 score should look a lot better and i will be preordering it for the ps3. I've heard from some players that it is a good game so far and most if not all of the reviews complaints were addressed to be fixed in the nov and dec updates. SE listens to fans and tries to make their games more enjoyable for them.

I dont really mind the monthly fee seeing as they have to continually work on the game and do patches and updates as well as keeping the servers up. I also dont agree with the score given. I only played open beta and am waiting on the ps3 version, but even the open beta deserved a better score than that. It seemed the review came from some person who was either a fan of a rival game or just feeding off negative beta comments(which are mostly feedback for SE to adjust things) and gave it a low score from small design flaws.. basically the games core design wasnt flawless so he got aggrevated. personally the game is probably an 8 and after the november and december updates will definately be an easy 9. If your a fan of FF you will probably enjoy this game. just give yourself some time to learn and adjust.

Definately it would be simply buying the newest FF, then the opening video followed by gameplay to the first boss. By then your drawn into a long awesome experience.

Notable awesome moments:

Getting a new weapon, magic, summon. etc.

Getting main Limit/Weapon

Defeating the super hard sidequest boss. : )

Beating the game is sometimes dissapointing because u dont want the experience to end, but its a great feeling before the dissapointment sets in. ^.^
