That women looks like the saddest angriest 40-50 year old overweight depressed mother on the planet. I bet the only reason she's there is because her son was too young/stupid to travel alone lol.
Fear 2, Riddick: Dark Athena, Dawn of War 2, Starcraft 2, Bayonetta, Killzone 2, Resident Evil 5, Prototype, Infamous, Bionic Commando, Street Fighter 4, Batman: Arkam Asylum, Tekken 6, Heavy Rain, God of War 3, Uncharted 2. All on my must haves list, 2009 is going to be an insanely awesome year for me. And who knows there's maybe even another 5 or more games I'll end up having to get. :O Rage, Bioshock 2 and Diablo 3 might even make it this year.
Mmo fees are for server maintenance costs, game stability costs, customer support costs and not to mention costs associated with the many many patches that often include new content. Mmos of war and wows caliber are the most expensive, time consuming type of game to produce. All you whiners going on about having to pay to play have no idea how stupid your logic is. If the games didn't have fees they couldn't exist.
This argument is so freaking retarded and I am so god damn sick of it. I own and play both machines. The only difference between the two of any significance is that a handful of multiplatform games run better on one machine over the other, not because they couldn't run better but because the developers programmers weren't experienced enough with the hardware to do better. The number of those games is getting smaller and smaller with maybe 1 or 2 coming out in the last 6 - 7 months. It wont be long before there are none of these titles anymore as programming standards will raise as they always do. I can only hope that once that happens this absolutely pointless comparison nonsense will finally cease to be.
Speaking as an Aussie and a young adult one at that it truly boggles my mind we've yet to get out of the ancient way of thinking here in Aus, that only kids play games when it is STATISTICALLY PROVEN that the majority of gamers are not only over 18 but practically in there 30s! As one aussie dev once said; people who play games are below 40, people responsible for games ratings are over 40. Nuff said.
While Daxter and Chains of Olympus are incredibly awesome games that anyone with a psp would be silly to miss out on I cant help but want these guys to do something original. Its obvious they have the skills and talents to do so. More importantly make it a ps3 game. He did say this engine is scalable enough to do just that. Anything these guys make seems to be pure gold and with every title their work gets better.
