The comment-rating system effectively makes it so you can't voice your opinion if it doesn't conform to the majority. I think it should be removed entirely.
Is this the board you're trying to access? If so, the reason you're having trouble finding it is because you're techincally not supposed to be allowed access to it. The game-specific boards are shared with GameFAQs.com, and on the gamefaqs website they sometimes split a board for a game up into several sub-boards, such as general, socail, or in this case online. Us gamespotters are only allowed to access the "general" board for a game, but sometimes there are others that slip through when they're not supposed to. Getting to that particular board proved to be rather difficult.EJ902
The board is shared intentionally. There used to be a sticky topic on the Brawl board linking to the GameSpot side of that board, but for some reason, it was removed. And as for split boards, GameSpot users are supposed to be able to access all of the split boards except the Social board. Not being able to access them would cause moderation-related problems (like where would a GS user be supposed to go if they wanted an online match? If they posted on the general board, they'd be modded for Off-Topic.) Again, I have no idea why that sticky topic was removed. It really should still be there, as that board isn't linked to anywhere else.
1. Can you use the classic controller to play gamecube games? No. 1a. Do they still make GC controllers? Don't know. 1b. If so, how do they compare? It really depends on what game you're playing, actually... Some SNES games, such as Super Mario World and Donkey Kong Country, are borderline unplayable with a GameCube controller... For most N64 games, I prefer the GameCube controller, though. And, as I said above, you can't use a Classic Controller with GameCube games, so overall, I'd recommend you get a GameCube one, if you can. 2. Can you save gamecube saves to the internal wii memory? No. 2a. Do they still make GC memory cards? Don't know.
All four of the games in Super Mario All-Stars have already been released on Virtual Console. They're not going to release what amounts to all of them at less than half the price.
