Ive been playing video games for as long as I can remember since the Atari Days so its pretty safe to assume that Ive had my more than fair share of quality games that have come out in the past. Since Atari with Pac-Man, Nintendo with SMB3, MegaMan series, Legend of Zelda, to the genesis games like Sonic, or the SNES with a great RPG like Chrono Trigger, Then came the original playstation which totally blew my mind, it felt like a true next-gen leap I was playing Tekken, Metal Gear Solid, Crash Bandicoot, Spyro the Dragon, you name it Final Fantasy VII, VIII, and IX I was playing the best games that came out for that system. Then the PS2 rolled in and it definatly did not dissapoint as its succesor with games like Devil May Cry, GTA, Final Fantasy X, God of War, Zone of the Enders, Shadow of the Colossus, and Tekken Tag. Their was so much damn quality its rediculous.

But in the midst of all these great games it was very hard for me to decide which was my favorite game of all time, in fact personally, I never liked to associate myself to singeling out a game to as my personal favorite of all time because even though some games were better than others they were never that much better than the other. In order for a game to stand out as one of the best in my eyes, they need to REALLY stand out from the crowd, this game needs to be a true masterpiece, an addiction from beggining to end, it needs to be more than just a game, it needs to be an experience, I wanna get that feeling that this game is so good, that any game that came out before or after will feel like dog poo after finishing up this particular game.

I for one can finally say that I have a favorite game of all-time. For once I can single out a game and proudly say without a shadow of a doubt, that METAL GEAR SOLID 4: GUNS OF THE PATRIOTS is my all time best game I have ever played. Everything you can think of in this game is Perfectly executed, wheather its the gameplay, cutscenes, voice acting, the sound quality, the visuals, graphics, physics, the awesome perfectly thought out story, I mean you wanna talk about using the most out of the PS3 Tech, this game wasted no time in using that hardware to help create this true masterpiece. Domo arigato Gozaimasu Kojima San for creating this game, I am very privledged and honored to have played, no not played, but to experience what I feel every gamer needs to experience. Playing the game is just a mere understatement, you need to fully embrace it. Oh and the final boss fight was just pure epic not to mention the end of act 3 (AMAZING!!!!!:o). Ive been wanting to create this blog for a while but I finally managed to find the time to do it since ive beaten the game the second day after it came out. Its games like these that remind me why I even started to play games in the first place.
