i dont know then mate, i usually convert avi's. and similar formats when they dont work on ps3. most avi's work on ps3 but some dont for some reason? :S
im not a genius on this stuff but it sounds abit like the tv can not keep up with the ps3? if its getting jumpy and glitchy. are you using a HDMI cable? if not maybe could work. or play around with the tv settings? is the tv faulty, does it work ok with everything else?

the is a converter called video9 its free and converts any movie file in to mp4. its good but i have had couple of movie files come out the converter abit glitchy and out of sync audio, but most of the time they come out good.

Same, lost all my ranks and unlocks but still have my dogtags.
same here, it happened before, then everything came back when i went back on it later on. but its done it again! i noticed that before everything gets lost i was having problems signing in to EA. then when i get in everythings gone. guna try again later see if its the same. also i noticed when everythings gone, when i check the leader board its just blank. must be a problem with EA not us!
