silverstein : discovering the waterfront
synopsis: my favorite band's follow up to smash hit of 2003's when broken is easily fixed
review: what can i say this album is great!!!!! silverstein really nails it this time. shane's mix of emo/ metal is balanced during every song however in some of the tracks he relies to much on metal and little on the emo. with tracks like "smile in your sleep", "your sword versus my dagger" "discovering the waterfront" and "call it karma" u will keep hitting the replay button on your sterio forever. the rest of the sons are also well done with the acception of a few.
shane's wailing still seems to amaze me. the rest of the music is definately well done and catchy and will have u hummong along to the song the album also includes a bonus dvd filled with live performances, the making of the music video, audio commentary on the music videos smashed to pieces and giving up.............and much much more.
overall silverstein has produced a great album that doesnt due much to change the face of emo rock but its still very well done and i can recommend it to any one with a passion for the new rock or the emotional hardcore rock movement.
