as i watched billy throw the final pitch that forced a groundout i was so overwhelmed with joy but the feeling must have been even greater for tommy who at age 41 had finally recored his 300th career win in what hopes to be his final season of a story book career in front of his family and friends. as i watched his team mates congraulate him and giving him the ball i became overwhelmed my self and began to cry for tom as he hugged his family in front of the crowd at rigley

all i have to say is congrats tommy on 300, congrates glavine family u should be proud, congrats my new york mets and thank u tom glavine for everything uve done for us in the last 2 seasons u have been a leader and anchor of this pitching staff and i can only hope that u continue on with us and bring us to the world series weve been waiting for.......
