I elected to keep the last of us as a one game franchise. Still haven't found the desire to go in for more after the first game. I thoroughly enjoyed the first game and played it through several times. I have zero hype for anything else in the franchise. Move on please.

I agree. I'd say the first ended for most part, perfectly. I just didn't like how they Killed off Joel in the 2nd game not that he died. I've never played the 2nd and I don't ever plan to.

Shenmue 3 is an important milestone in gaming, in that, it helped people realize it was never good to begin with.

🤣🤣 Nailed it. I've never actually played any Shenmue games but based on what I've seen of it, to me it looks very overrated. If Sega never wasted their money on it, made other bad decisions and released another quality Sonic game during the Dreamcast era, The Dreamcast would have lasted longer than it did.

Microsoft doesn't have much of the market share in the gaming sector anyway. I don't think they really want to continue making Home consoles. They'd rather offer a service like Gamepass where people get to be a part of the Xbox experience.

The point isn't how powerful the Pro is. It's whether you'd spend £700 to £800 on a closed gaming system.

I'd spend £900 on a PC less powerful than the Pro and it would STILL make more sense, because I can use it however I like. That makes the PC a worthy buy. Buying a gaming only device for £700 is a waste of money, and it doesn't include the disc drive, a stand, any game, the PSN service costs... So using a PC as a price comparison is not apples to apples. The level of freedom you get using a PC adds a ton more value to the price.

Imagine paying that much for this hardware and being told and legally bound to only use it within certain parameters.

And it's not even the standard, the PS5 will still be the standard to which games are built and designed for.

Agreed. Spot on.

@MirkoS77: I'd put it up on ebay for around $12,000, with a Buy it now and Best offer option.

"Brett Jones, one of the original artists on the GoldenEye 007 and Perfect Dark teams, has died".

GoldenEye designer David Doak shared the news on social media on Thursday, writing: “RIP Brett Jones – you absolute legend.” He later added: “So much of what made GE007 and PD special came from Brett’s talent and rascal humour.”

Jones worked for Rare between 1994 and 2002 and his work can be seen across multiple areas of GoldenEye 007, from modelling all of the game’s characters, creating most of its animation, building multiple backgrounds and the frontend UI".
