Thanks, I'll keep that in mind. I'm probably gonna wait at least a few months until I start updating my parts though. I'm just glad I got a solid setup that I can upgrade as needed when I have the extra money.

That's good to know, thanks. In my friend's defense I told him to give me the best he could on a budget lol. I'm looking forward to switching to PC gaming and being able to just swap out parts for an occasional upgrade rather than have to wait for Microsoft and Sony to decide they're finished milking a given generation. Really just going to hold on to my ps4 for Naughty Dog and sports games.
Well I bought them after the first two guys said it was an alright economy setup. I also got good feedback when I posted the same question on Kotaku. I was just seeing if you agreed out of curiosity and I appreciated the tip on the PSU. Sorry if I offended.
I already ordered this setup and it's on the way. Will this rig play play the games well enough until I can upgrade some parts?
Yeah I'm trying to stay pretty cheap. I'm not trying to go really big, I just traded in my 360 towards my ps4 and want a way to play Titanfall, South Park, Dark Souls 2, DayZ, etc. I plan on upgrading parts later, I'm just trying for a machine that will play those games fairly well.
My friend just threw together a shopping list for me to build my own gaming rig. I'm very much a noob to PC gaming and was just wondering how these specs measure up compared to my ps4 and in general. Thanks in advance!
