Back into Gaming

So after a long hiatus from gaming and focusing on school, I suddenly have a fairly easy-going summer where I can go and play as well as focus on my MCAT's. My excuse for this blog is that I'm preparing for the written section of the MCAT. Last week I finished Super Paper Mario and am working on finishing Zelda for the Wii too. Review of SPM should be out soon.

Anyways, one thing that I noticed lately has been the amazing deals at EB lately. For example, today I picked up new copies of Trauma Center New Blood and Battalion Wars 2 for $10 + tax each, amazing!

Shame to you EA

When I wrote my review of Command and Conquer: The First Decade, I had completely ignored going through the original, Covert Operations and Red Alert, as it was my understanding that there is no way EA will downgrade those games. However, in light of many people's complaints, I have played through them and found a litany of problems:

- online play does not work at all
- music is either incoherent or nonexistent at all
- a litany of crashes and errors
- the Soviet movies simply DO NOT WORK in Red Alert's campaign

Shame on you EA for releasing what was obviously a money-grab at the Command and Conquer fans out there. I have changed my review to reflect these shams, and if in due time, no patch is released my review will be drastically downgraded even more.

That is all ... oh and Hamlet is crapp! Happy Valentines Day all.

New REVIEW! ... and Hamlet

Soo I have just finished my Command and Conquer the First Decade's review, be sure to check it out. It is a beast, so please read it all before commenting.

In other news, I have yet to watch the 4 hour 12 minute version Kenneth Branagh's version of Hamlet ... which I'm dreading ... but English homework has to be done I suppose. Finally, grad's coming up --> meaning grad photos and reminiscing with everyone =). Anyhow, should get back to English now. Check out the new review!
