Wow, that REALLY sucks about the resolution... I thought for SURE that the PS3 and all of its games were 1080p. I guess I'll settle for 720p. Do you also know if it is Wi-FI compatible? Thanks for your help.

Hi. I'm interested in buying a PS3 for Christmas, but I'd like to know a few things about them first.

Is theBlu-Ray player in the PS3 a piece of crap? Will I be getting the same quality player if I buy a PS3 versus an actual Blu-Ray player?

Secondly, does the 40GB, 60GB, OR 80GB model come WITH an HDMI cable? I was wondering because I have an HDTV, but it would really suck if I had to pay an additional 80 dollars to play games in true high definition (one of the PS3's obvious strong points).

And lastly, how long is the PS3's warranty?

Thanks a lot!

Okay well, thanks for letting me know. I don't know alot about PC parts, but I saw that it was only $50 and thought it may be a good idea. I can really only spend maybe just over $100. Any suggestions?

Can I play the Xbox version of San Andreas on my 360? Do I need to download a patch or anything? Will it work? Thanks in advance.

hey. since guitar hero ii costs over $100 here in canada, shouldnt guitar hero ii for the wii be ALOT cheaper? i mean, considering that the actual game is $59.99, they're basically sharging you $40.00 for the guitar controller, which in my opinion, is a rip-off. therefore, since the wii controller for ghiii will merely be a shell (using the remote as the actual controller) they wont even have to make the guitar built in with wireless technologies, since the remote will already supply it. or am i wrong?

I don't want any ridiculously gay characters. For example: Dr. Wright or Samurai Goro. Oh wait...

I have a 46 inch Sharp Aquos LCD top of the line TV. I believe that LCDs and Plasmas are A LOT better than shatty tube TVs. I bought the component cables, keeping in mind that this is pretty much the best LCD TV out there, and they dont make much of a difference. For as much as they cost, put in another 15 dollars or so and buy a new game instead. Trust me.

[QUOTE="token08"]

How about the Gamepro review that gave it a 4.5 out of 5

Also Nintendo Power reviewed it and I think they gave it a 7.5 out of 10

Those are pretty good reviews so far

ParkCarsHere

Gamepro's review was terrible. If you read the written part, you'd understand it's a terribly written review. In fact, it's mostly negative, which is surprising since they gave it a 90% score... And as for Nintendo Power, well, they generally rate HIGH, so the points of that review should be scaled down.

I beg to differ, my friend, I am a frewuent subscriber to Nintendo Power, and can assure you that, surprisingly, a majority of the game they review recieve crap reviews and low scores. Though 7.5/10 isn't exactly a good score. Its really a win or loss situation.
