I played both Diablo 1 & 2 to death when they originally came out, but for some reason Diablo 3 doesn't interest me. I'm much more looking forward to playing Torchlight 2, which has the same addictive quality while not taking itself too seriously. It's also much more affordable (especially when purchasing a 4-pack).
I agree w/ Gamespock. I'm extremely disappointed with Gamespot. I come here for gaming news and don't want to be subjected to politically oriented articles. I can get that content elsewhere.
"It's too bad that this great strategic city builder must serve as a lightning rod for a few people unwilling to acknowledge ([global warming] excellence." I believe in climate change. I just don't believe it's man-made, but is rather a part of earth's normal hot/cold weather cycles. The truth is, green environmentalism is actually code for the social justice political movement. Way to go, Kevin. You just tarnished what was otherwise an enjoyable reading experience.
My system is far from cutting edge, but it's no slouch either: Windows Vista Home Premium AMD Athlon 64 FX60 FX-60 Socket 939 Dual Core CPU eVGA e-GeForce 8800 GT Superclocked 512MB GDDR3 2GB Corsair XMS Memory (1GB x 2) I was completely unimpressed with Crysis. At 1024 x 768 running with medium detail the game ran like crap. I wonder if it's truly bleeding edge or just an unoptimized mess?
