I truly wish that every multiplayer game would include an option for bots. Lets face it, playing online is great, but there are times when I want to enjoy a quick multiplayer match that is specifically tailored to my liking (excluding all the cursing and immature behavior we sometimes find online).

  • Bots make the replay value of any game limitless.
  • With bots it doesnt matter if you cant find enough of the right people to play a game...
  • Bots allow you to play a map at its full compliment of players with no lag, slowdown, drop-outs, or any such negative effects.
  • With bots you can practice ALL of the gameveriants and not just the ones which are the most popular.

I fully realize that bots may be extreamly dificult to program into multiplayer games, but I think developers should still seriously consider this vital addition...

That makes little sense. I can say with confidence that the GT series can provide some of the most impressive screenshots around, so why did they decide to use a game like PGR...SolidSnake35

Your asking the wrong person, you need to ask Sony.  And ask them how could they do it TWICE?

Have you guys heard about this!

Once was bad enough, but twice?  So right now there are a whole bunch of Spanish people out there who are thinking Gran Turismo HD has such beautiful grafix when in reality they are looking at screenshots from PGR3!!!!

Call it a mistake, I call it pathetic deception.

Remember its a simulation, which means you should at least try and drive like you do in a real car.  Here are a few pointers:

  • Remember the gas a brakes are presure sensitive, therefore do not press them in a rush fashion.  Think about your car, when you accelerate you dont jam on the gas and when you decelerate you dont jam on the brakes.  Its the same in Forza, you must ease into the gas and brakes to stop spin outs and loss of traction.
  • Remember to glance at the speedometer from time to time to be reminded of your speed.  On the tv screen 100 mph does not seem like 100mph in real life, it seems much slower.  Therefore get used to glancing at the speedometer to get an idea as to what is fast and too fast.  This will help greatly when taking corners.
  • Many corners can be taken without applying full gas, infact if you have a series of small turns to navigate try gliding into the turn and then accelerating out.  Also, try not to brake and turn at the same time, this helps cause loss of control.
  • Learn the tracks.  Knowing the fast turns and those on which you must apply more braking is an absolute nessecity.
  • Patience.  This is a simulation not an arcade game, its the kind of game that takes you a month to learn and even longer to master.  But once you get the hang of it you will never want to put it down...

Stick with these basic priciples and you will find your experiance much more enjoyable.

Cheers... 8)
