[QUOTE="BakaGoose"]I bought my PS3 for 400 Dollars and bought a laptop 2 years later for $700. The PS3 still plays the newest games, but some how my 700 dollar laptop doesn't play new games worth anything. Developers make the games for specific hardware when making it for a game system, but when it's for a computer there is many different possibilities for the hardware inside. Anyway I can't play many new games on my computer now that I switched over to Linux (sick of all the viruses and anti virus updates... everything about Windows annoyed me)DragonfireXZ95Because you don't know what you're doing. You obviously don't know that laptops, especially cheap 700 dollar laptops, don't do well in gaming in general. If you want a gaming PC, go with a desktop. The parts are upgrade-able and they are much cheaper. I bought the laptop for college so a Desktop really wasn't an option at the time. I'd love to be able to upgrade the hardware in a desktop every other year, but with the amount of money I have I'd rather stick with My PS3 which has a smaller start up cost and a smaller upkeep cost then a desktop...
