Stand-alone HD-DVD players are outselling Blu-Ray players, which is a rather dramatic market shift, seeing as people are buying the players to watch movies only.

This isn't the case for the Blu-Ray market whose biggest sales come from being tacked onto the PS3.

Talk about a last ditch effort.

Imagine how much theyre losing on each system! Couple that with the abysmal software sales...

Bread_or_Decide

They cut the cost. They aren't losing as much anymore. In fact its probably closer to being profitable. Is Microsoft even making money yet? Probably still feeling the pinch on that extended 3 year warranty.

They were losing $200 USD on each $599 PS3 sold 11 months ago, I can't imagine the manufacturing costs have dropped that significantly within a year.

Wii - Hilary Duff (Pretty but utterly uninteresting, loved by 3 year olds and old pervs)

Xbox 360 - Mariah Carey (Overexposed, Loud, prone to breakdowns)

PS3 - Marilyn Monroe (Dead.)

I'm pro HD-DVD but if that means I'm a "ganta," then I'd rather support blu-ray and be a geek. Atleast geeks are original.

Geeks don't have a choice though, it's as if God was about to create a personality for them and only got half way through before the words INSUFFICIENT FUNDS stared flashing.

I don't mind some casuals. It's the casuals wanna-be fanboys that piss me off. You know the kind who know jack all about their chosen fanboy consoles, so you basicaly have to fill in their own arguments for them. death1505921

Commonly referred to as 'Cows' in System Wars.

I love how you guys act like casuals are a different species.sexy_chimp

They are a completely separate demographic than us, I see no reason not to differentiate.

I'm usually the first person to point out how stale the gaming sci-fi genre is at the moment (tough guy in a ridiculous metal body-suit carrying some form of gun and GREY GREY GREY), but this game has a really good atmosphere and setting.
