Microsoft should do what Sony did with the PlayStation and hype a 3rd-rate platformer with a 3rd-rate mascot into oblivion (Crash says hi - from beyond the grave).
Wasn't there a thread earlier today where some cow used OPM to praise Killzone 2...and all the lemmings made fun of him? Lemmings claimed they NEVER use OXM or MS press releases to hype something. They only use credible, independant sources.

No, but don't you think that a linear game like Metal Gear Solid wouldn't require such a lavish development team ? I seem to recall MGS4 being slated for a 2007 release earlier this year, only to magically be announced for 2008 a while later.... Of course, this would have nothing to do with the BottleNeck3 hardware, now would it... It is a possible scenario, yet even though I don't own a PS3, I don't think this game will receive anything but AAA.
A casual with a PS3 and a 360 ? Ridiculous, nobody spends that kind of money on something they know nothing about, that would be like me paying $500 for a diamond-studded scientific calculator (because I'm just so rubbish at Mathematics).

Having 200 devs on one game is a double edged sword. 200 people are hard to manage and keep focused, but I'm sure Kojima is stringent on the quality control.
I could see 200 devs working on a game of huge scope, like Mass Effect for example, but on a Metal Gear Solid game ? .... Perhaps the PS3 really is a pain to develop for.... ?

Not true, the reason why xbox 360 isn't selling well in japan, is because the xbox 360 doesn't have any big franchises there. Nintendo has exclusively the mario franchise, while ps3 has exclusive the ff, gt, and everybody golf franchises. Both franchises for some reason sell tons of consoles.numba1234
