Havent Cows learned their lesson by now ?!
1 - Stop hyping games they know nothing about (HELLO Lair/Heavenly Sword)
2 - Get another crystal ball because 2008 is going to be just as GREAT as 2007 for the PS3.
[QUOTE="Shadow_op"][QUOTE="azad_champ"]It's cheap by Europe standards.

$564 is not cheap, by any standards.
Considering that Wii costs about 500$ in Europe and same for 360 so it is cheap.
Both Wii and 360 have great value bundles in PAL regions, the PS3 does not because it is too expensive ($1000 AUD).
[QUOTE="ParadiddleFill"][QUOTE="azad_champ"]400.00 EUR = 565.423 USDWhat's up with all the PS3 haters on Damage control? Just because Sony lowered the price to 400$ it seems like every hater is fearing their doom. I don't wanna be here when PS3 reaches 200$. Then SW will burn with trolls.

the ps3 is 400 euros not 400 dollars
cheap anyway.
400 Euros is $566.00 USD
[QUOTE="BambooBanger"]I don't have a clue how to build a PC, and i'd say a good 95% of the population don't either. This is why console gaming is such an advantage - streamlined, easy to use, and, in most cases, just as powerful. How PC gaming get's compared to console gaming in general is beyond me.
Here is what you would need to play BioShock at it's reccommended requirements, and how much it would cost (with exchange rates):
CPU - Intel Core 2 Duo processor - $258.98 AUD = $238.00 USD
2GB System RAM - $260.00 AUD= $233.00 USD
DX10 - NVIDIA GeForce 8600 - $310.00 AUD = $279.00 USD
Sound Card - Sound Blaster X-Fi series - $304.00 AUD = $274.00 USD= $1132.98 AUD or $1024.00 USD
And that doesnt even factor in other gaming essentials like:
300 GB HD - $199.00 AUD = $178.00 USD
19" WIDESCREEN LCD Monitor - $278.00 AUD = $250.00 USD
5.1 Surround sound speakers - $199.00 = $178.00 USDF-14Bombcat
Exchange rates can't be that high! Here is what that is in the US
A C2D processor is $150
2gig ram $80
8600GT $150
Onboard audio( which is still pretty good depending on your MoBo) $0-Free
200gb HD $200
19in. Widescreen $150 (and a good brand)
5.1 surround sound speakers is definite overkill
Price total: $730
Unless the exchange rate is close to $100 dollars on each item, then those prices are false.
They're real prices from an online store the specialises in parts for building your own PC, theyre also below retail prices.
You forget that EVERYTHING is more expensive in other countries, especially Europe and Australia. Those are below retail Australian prices converted into USD. $1 AUD = $0.89 USD.
CANT STAND THEM. It's like a few whiney teenagers got together because they were sent to their rooms without dinner and formed a union, complete with a rather vulgar uniform.
They're all about the individuality yet run around as if they all burst out of the same spider egg.
It's all just so 'poor me, i have feelings', if they actually cared so much they'd piss off to a 3rd world country for a year and actually make a difference instead of complaining about it and how daddy didnt give them that BMW for xmas.
