Vega's Ultra 1 is improved. This is all I need.

I am, but only because a $10 credit mysteriously showed up in my Best Buy account so I got 1600 MS points for ten bucks.

For $15 they could've at least unlocked the new game modes that are already coded into the game. Robert Bowling has alluded to new game types coming "separate from DLC" so hopefully that will be part of a free update. (HA!)

Something tells me that once I buy BF:BC2, I won't be interested in any future DLC in MW2...

Bad Company 2 if you like more MW2-style action with less camping, Borderlands if you like a billion customizable guns and playing with just a few friends at a time. Don't bother with the others on the list IMO.

Saw this a few weeks ago on Kotaku -- I think Luke's article lays it all out. Nintendo is cheap, and for good reason. I might not be "real" 3D, but that 3D Hidden Puzzle game looks damn good to me and if it plays like the video says it does, I'm all in. I predict a $199 MSRP with the DSi dropping to $139 next March. The real question is, will it release in the US or Japan first? Or a simultaneous release? Didn't the first gen DS come out stateside first?

Definitely the 28 Days Later music. Surely they have some great atmospheric in-game music done by the game's composer..?

I spent 120 hours in the original and still never completed Shivering Isles. The other smaller DLC is worthwhile too, especially Knights of the Nine, but Shivering Isles is the best IMO. Worth whatever they're charging these days, which can't be much. I think I saw the entire GOTY edition on sale for $18 the other day...

Activision is probably going to push as far as they can in terms of charging users. They've been talking about a Call of Duty MMO since '08 I believe, and since the announcement of a third CoD dev team, I bet that's what they're working on. Probably launching in 2011, and I bet about 2 million people would try it if it was like $5/month. But the usual $15/month for a FPS with MMO elements? I dunno.
