Ironcow challenge!

So I've been playing World of Warcraft since launch in the EU, I was there for the inclusion of the Honour System, I was there when they added the Battlegrounds and I have been in more dungeons than I care to remember and seen more than my fair share of the inside of raid instances, but over the years the interest is beginning to wane. But the other day I found something that has, what I thought would bring some real interest and that is the "Ironman Challenge" the rules can be found at the official website here http://wowironman.com/ you can also track your characters progress up the rankings. Ok there is no reward, no achievement (well there is an "Ironman" achievement but that is for WSG PvP) just a sense of personal achievement that you've followed the rules and successfully (maybe) and have not died! So I rolled a character on a server that I have no toons on, using a dice roll to determine, faction, gender, race and class thus I ended up with a Female Tauren Paladin which I called Cattleina. So it was to be Mulgore for me, at least at the start. http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/character/mazrigos/Cattleina/simple Apart from a few close scrapes, one because I was watching NCIS season on DVD need to pay closer attention, lucky for me I had Lay on Hands and took me from 10% HP to full HP in a second! Not having any stats boosts, talent points or glyphs makes killing mob sooooooo slow and getting slower, armour and weapons are hard to find, at the moment I can buy new armour sets about every 5 levels, weapons are a little more random to upgrade. The long and short of it is if you are going to attempt this be prepared for a long long grind, with a little be of soul destroying along the way. While the slowness of levelling is hard to take and I have almost come close to saying **** it" and just level as normal I have chosen to stay with it. Roughly putting on 1 level a day sometimes a little more. That's enough for me, time to get back to the grind!

Bafflefield 3 0.o

Nope you read right I do mean Bafflefield. Just been playing a few games of Team Deathmatch with a friend, normally on Battlefield 3 I try to avoid TDM like the plague, I find it ultimately frustrating. I shoot, I hit and I die o.0 WTF So many times I am left looking at the screen showing me my kangrooing killer bounding away while at the same time showing me that they have 7% (or less) hit points left! grrrrrr. Today I finally had a moment of /ragequit when toward the end of one game of TDM when I spotted a guy running to my left, I followed him, pulled my gun to my shoulder, aimed down the sight, centred on his chest, pulled the trigger, burst of round smacking into his chest. Bang one shot back I'm left once again looking at the death screen with my target left on 10% HP. FuuuUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!! Sometimes this game leaves me totally baffled as to what counts as enough damage to kill some one and what doesn't. Oh well /quit BF3 time to log back into World Of Warcraft to carry on with the Ironman challenge.
