Money = Stuff = No Money

Of course, all of this spending has led to an expected outcome. I'm basically broke, but I'm also really excited and happy. No regrets!
k. so i am unloading every request i have ever done. mostly because i know most of them aren't used anymore. additionally, i am doing this for my bandwidth.
If you are using an image that i made for you, YOU NEED TO UPLOAD IT ON YOUR OWN. This is what Photobucket and Imageshack are for. use it. get your own.
This is happening in two weeks. I will not reupload ANYTHING. make sure you save it appropriately.

So, I have come to a decision.
My decision is that I will buy an Xbox 360 soon. Very soon. Within the next month probably.
What has brought me to this decision? Well, I'll be honest. A single gamebox has attracted me to the 360. There is a reason i say gamebox, instead of game though. That is because this gamebox contains more than just a single game. It contains a grand total of 5! Of course, by now you should know that the game I am speaking of is Orange Box!
Seriously, every single game that comes in the package appeals to me in such a unique way. The Half Life series is obviously at the forefront of that bracket. i haven't done too much research, because I don't want to spoil any part of the story. All I know is that the Half Life series is known for an amazing story with really good FPS action. The Gravity gun from HL is also really interresting to me, since there is like no limit to the amount of fun i could have with that kind of weapon.
Portal. Portal. What can I say about this game? It seriously looks like a really fun puzzle game. Throw in the fact that everyone says it's really funny (an element I wouldn't expect from this game) and it's a must have for me. Valve's Source engine looks like it will really be awesome for this game.
The last, but most important game (imo) is Team Fortress 2. A true Multiplayer experience is what is most missing for me when I play Wii. Team Fortress 2 is really the game that would solve all of those woes for a very long time for me. The art $tyle is really something unique to see in a shooter game, and it really brings the game to a new level imo. I'm also admittedly drawn to Cl@ss-based shooters. It seems like TF2 really nailed that aspect of the game. By basing the game on "points" instead of "kills," Valve has made it possible to "win" as the player that doesn't do all the killing. For example, the Medic gets points by simply healing its teammates. By having such a balance, teams are encouraged to play as a team, you know, that thing called teamwork. What ever happened to that?
I know. Some of you are shouting "Why not for PC?!?" and the answer is simple really. I have a mac. A powerpc mac too, so bootcamp/parralels/all that other junk... is not an option for me. Buying a gaming rig, while this was a real interest of mine for awhile, is also not really an option. and PS3? not happening...
The 360 has a lot of other games that should keep me interrested as well, so it seems like a good choice.
I leave you with a Video. Meet the Heavy
Finally, after trying really hard to fit this game into my hectic schedule, I have succeded in beating Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. I'm so happy. :D
the game didn't end up being my favorite game out of the series though. MP still holds my heart in that regard, it does things better in some spots, and was more original for the most part. Through it all though, I was very impressed. I got 87/100 pickups overall, which I am very proud of, especially for a first time through the game.
Full in-depth review some point this week :)

PS: Im just as busy as I have been in the past weeks, so don't expect much of me.
Much stuff is going down right now. I'm moving, going back to school, having my birthday, having my moms' birhday, scrambling to do my summer assignment, and trying to find the time to make a new sig for each round of the Liquid Designs tourney. I'm still in the tourney, but I'm not even sure if I will find the time to make that sig by tuesday. Why? I have much to do concerning my summer assignment, and I think that moving/packing is going to take a lot of my time over the weekend.
Obviously, I hope to avoid forfeit, and the good news is, that I probably will avoid it. Honestly, there are worst things that can happen to a person than forfeiting a competition with no 'physical' award. At the same time, I really would love to win, it would surely be a boost for me, and a great way to end a rather sucessful tourney.
Also, I found a really cool puzzle game. I have been solving it with various friends from gs, and it's really fun. Just rememer, if you try it, it's much more than you average click here and there puzzle game. You are required to think outside the box. Just try not to cheat, it really defeats the purpose of the game.
Here's the link. Linkage
So I guess you know where I am, if I'm not here.
