I now work at an advertising agency. Life is good!

Do you gys see that pinpup girl badge there? I was there watching the show for like, 5 seconds, and decided to go watch some comedy show on YouTube instead. And That get me a badge? That's sweet, though unexpected.

I got too busy with other things and totallyforget to watch the show. Now the live coverage is over. What a freaking shame!!!!!!!!

Well, I'm back at home, and boy I sure miss the Internet.

And the vacation really wasn't that great. Me and my girl had a fight. Sometimes  I don't understand how woman think... or is it just her? Always fighting over small things like where I need to put my trash. Jesus.

Looks like the art union hasn't done much since I took off. Well, seeing how I promised the leader that I will design a new layout for the union, I better speed up my progress.

Recently I have gotten into making banners. I started a thread at Canvas Zero Art Union's board. If you or your union need a banner, come and check us out!

I have been an officer in Canvas Zero fo a while now. Recently, I have decided to become more active. The semester is coming to an end and I now have a lot more free time, so I think I will do my part to help the union grow. There are a few things I must say about Canvas Zero Art Union, however.

The first thing is how many members we have. I have tried to send out some invites, but I really don't know anyone else at Gamespot other than the people that have already joined Canvas Zero. Who the heck am I supposed to invite? Right now we have 39 members with lots of mods. I just don't think this union is getting enough members. Yian, the leader of the union and also a friend of mine in real life, doesn't seem to be concerned about it and always say "that's the nature of this union," but I wish there is something to be done t get moreactive members.

This also lead me to the second point: the nature of our union and its purpose at Gamespot. I don't know if there are other forums at Gamespot that do the same thing, but right now what Canvas Zero is doing seem to have very little to do with video games. Gamespot is a website about video games, and maintaining a union at Gamespot that talk about something completely different just doesn't seem to be logical to me. That is also perhaps the biggest reason why we aren't getting any members: no one is really interested except the few who can draw well.

When Yian gets busy, he is hard to reach. But sooner or later I will talk to him about all these. This might upset him a bit but I don't think there is any point to create an elite club at this community. I hope you guys that are more familiar with Gamespot than me would agree with me.

You know, Gamespot is a pretty cool place. It has tons of news updates and I love reading the previews for the upcoming games. But the amount of ads are getting on my nerve.

I know I could  probably shell out some cash and make all these ads go away... but I'm really not sure if this is a good idea. I'm just a poor college kid who make just enough to get by...

Almost forget to put this news here.... I uploaded my first comic strip at my art union!

While everyone else in my major has started to get busy, we advertising and graphic design people could finally take a break. Or portifolio seminar ended on October 31st, one week after the day it supposed to end due to the fact thet almost everyone needed more time. Since the second half sememster always have one extra week to do their work, it was only fair for us to have an extra week, as well. While this meant one extra busy week doing nothing but work, it also gave us a chance to get a good grade.

The beginning of the second portifolio class also means that Yian won't have much time to do anything but school work until December. This makes me wonder what will happen to his union? Maybe this is a good chance to upload some of my own artwork. Just a bunch of very simple comics strip, but you might like them.
