Next gen is shaping up to be eerily similar to this gen.

If you think about it. Both this gen and next gen have a lot in common, such as:

• Xbox 360 had the better launch line up and better developer support for better exclusives (e.g. Halo, Gears of War, Fable, Dead Rising, etc.) than PS3, just like the Xbox One has better developer support for better exclusives than PS4.
• PS3 was slightly more powerful (on paper) than the Xbox 360, just like the PS4 is slightly more powerful (on paper) than the Xbox One. Yet this slight extra power was never truly realized in any games (the Gears of War series on Xbox 360 looks as good as any game on PS3).
• Xbox 360 had a better and more ergonomic controller than PS3, just like the Xbox One has a better and more ergonomic controller than the PS4.
• The Xbox 360 outsold the PS3 by a wide margin in North America, just like the Xbox One is set to outsell the PS4 by a wide margin in North America.

Is history repeating itself? I think so.

The general public knows Microsoft is leagues ahead of Sony in hardware and software development. The general public also knows that the Xbox One is MUCH more feature-packed than the PS4.

I preordered Xbox One because:

• Awesome exclusive games - Killer Instinct, Project Spark, Quantum Break, Titanfall, Sunset Overdrive
• I want to play Killer Instinct on day one.
• I like the voice and gesture controls demonstration I saw on the Xbox One unveiling video on YouTube.
• I like how the voice and gesture controls will be integrated into games for a more immersive experience.
• I like the idea of it being a fully integrated entertainment device.
• I think the cloud service (Azure) has a lot of potential (just look at Titanfall).
• I like the look of the Xbox One controller a lot more than the PS4 controller. The Xbox One controller looks much more ergonomical.
• The Xbox One looks much sturdier built with a much better cooling system than the PS4.

Show me 1 multiplat which does? LOL there aren't any, are there? :lol:campzor
