Yes that's right my best and fastest PC to date is finished. I mean it was fisnished while ago but finally I got all the parts that I wanted. This is of course what my budget allowed me to built this machine for, but I'm damn proud of it. I'm only partially satisfied with my graphics card, though. I always meant to get ATI card but the R520 chip screw up and delayes just made me change my decision to get nVidia chip. Now I know I made a wise decision, but on that later (unless I forget), and first I'll list what my machine is made of:
Links lead to pictures, though not for everything.

IMO one of the nicest cases out there, when I first saw I knew it'll be mine.
Motherboard: eVGA nForce 4
very nice and fast board, and it has plenty settings for overclockers
CPU: AMD Athlon X2 4400+ @2.2
I tried overclocking it, but my room's temps are just too high. Later on that too.
GPU: XFX Geforce 7900GT (Core Clock @ 520Mhz; Mem 1500Mhz)
Awesome fast card
Memory: 2 GB Crosair DDR400 (PC3200) Dual Channel
I don't remember any specifics, cuz it was quite some time ago when I bought it.
Sound Card: Creative SoundBlaster X-Fi
Yes, the last part that my PC needed, and I got it yesterday. Woooh great sound.
Speakers: Klipsh ProMedia ULTRA 5.1 470 Watts
I am so proud of these babies, the sound quality that comes out of'em is just stunning. BEST PC SPEAKERS EVER!!!

PSU: ePower Puma II EP 450W PSU
Not the greatest in the world, but my badget was getting smaller
Drives:
HDDs: 2 Western Digital hard drives, 120GB and 200 GB, simple IDE drives but fast and reliable, they've served for the longest *crosses fingers*
DVD drives: I think LG Electronics and DVD-R/+R 16x from NEC
Accessories:
Keyboard: Logitech (Bah! what else) Elite something, I tried finding a pic but couldn't
Mouse: Logitech's MX518 - awesome mice.
I think that covers it pretty much, I care about the rest but my passion and proud is inside the case and the case itself. This rig was up and running back in September of last year ('05) but it didn't have all the parts that I wanted. I was wating in anticipation for ATI's R520 chip cards, but that bombed when ATI announced delayes and yeild problems so I went with 7800GT. That was supposed to be a temporary card until R580 would launch,I had a feeling it would rock, and it does, but as Vista and its D3D10 is not that far ahead I thought there's no reason to upgrade from such a good card, I had a chance to sell my 7800GT and get 7900GT which I did of course as this upgrade cost me almost nothing. I figured that nVidia will hold me off until first DX10 cards will hit the shelves and I also have good feeling that ATI will rule (I know I'm a bit biased towards ATI, I like them).
Last piece of the puzzle was my sound card. Until yesterday I had Sound Blaster 2, it's not the bad card and X-Fi wasn't even announced when I was putting my PC together. I finally got X-Fi just because I got for $79.99 :D that's right, it's the basic one I now, but why in the world should I pay for a card 100 bucks more just because it has Fatal1ty name on it and few MB of ram more which nobody had utulized in any game yet. BTW I'm so glad I could upgrade this card sounds fantastic, purest sound yet, haven't tried with games yet but music is like diamonds.
Overclocking: Yes, as I mentioned before my room is very hot I don't know why. During winter I have to wear two pair of sacks and druing summer I take off my skin. Anyway thit's not letting me OC my CPU, I did have it OC'ed at 2.31 and it was stable, but any little tiny bit higher and my PC would reboot. Now after I did the format last night I also found these new BIOS update for my motherboard and after updating I noticed some temps drop on my CPU, that put a nice smile on my face and I will experiment with OCing more now. Good thing about G70 chip is that it is very OC friendly even on air cooling, I had 7800GT overclocked but haven't got the time to play with 7900GT yet.
OK I will stop now, it almost put me to sleep too, lol. If you've read this up to this point then big thanks for you time. I don't even write esseys that long :D but I like this stuff.
