Well I'm playing Fallout 3 for a while now, and I honestly don't know what to think about this game.Frankly so far I'm not impressed. Sure the post-nuclear Washington DC is beautiful in some ways, but there are some things that surprised me in a negative way.
The characters (pc and npc's) look very static, and don't share many emotions.
Also, I get lost too many times, and then there's this.
The game is all about karma. I want to be the person with the good karma, but imagine yourself this. When you are in a store, and want to repair your weapons at a workbench, you have to click on this workbench. Today I had this thing, that I accidentally picked up an item which laid down on the workbench in a store. But according to the game rules, you steal an object, in a store once you pick it up. Suddenly, you gain bad karma, the store guard becomes an enemy, and blows you into pieces with his rifle. And oh snap! I forgot to save, and I return 10 minutes back in the story!
I know the game is more about making choices than being a shooter, but I think Mass Effect does a great job at both of these things!
It may be the game of 2008 for many people, and I respect that, but again, I'm not impressed so far.
What are your feelings about this game?
This, and some other things makes me doubt if I will be able to complete the game.
