I'm not sending it in!!!...I'm exchanging it at Best Buy...BEST BUY'S EMPLOYEES ARE ANNOYING AS HELL! They always think that its an HD problem..and it sucks ass
I'm pro..and your right..most of us are Jackasses...but its also the kind of atmosphere I like...because it ends up being funny at how serious people get over a single game... :)
I got the NYCO intercooler..and HEY...3 RED LIGHTS AFTER 2 DAYS OF USE..but being smart and hearing all those warnings..I took it off and it worked...I"m gonna let it cool tonight just incase of heat damage....ugh...I hate this soo much...this is the reason why I never play my xbox...I'm probably subconciously scared its going to break :P
Today I was downloading some demo from XBLMP and I left the room for maybe 10 minutes...I came back and it was stuck on 88%...and turns out it was frozen..so I shut it off...and put it back on..and I got nothing but Green lines on my TV...restarted again..the logo came up..but it was really messed up looking...all Pixelated..and made a noise that I hate...its like a really loud beeping sound....retried again..same thing..retried again..and now I just get green lines
but the thing is...my xbox sounds fine...all green...no red lights (3 **** times that happened) and I'm thinking...it might be the AV cable..is there any way to test this?
Of course I can just go get another one for free from Xbox...but the **** of this problem is that they always want to take your HD too..since they think OMFG ITS A HARDDRIVE PROBLEM no matter what you say...so I've had to fight for my HD 3 times..as usual...and I don't know why they keep breaking on me!
Yup...4th time i've gotten RROD....I had 3 in one day...hehe I had my 2nd in the morning...broke..got another one...was already broken..went back...and got my 4th...ha
I'm on my 4th Xbox....(all free with warranty..cept my first) and so I've been heavily playing Rainbow Six Vegas the past week, and every time I play it alot...for 3+ hours...it usually freezes..and my friend said it was Overheating...so I had still boxed up Intercooler (the box that attachse to the vents in the back to cool the Xbox) mainly because my Dad read up on the internet that it takes away power..which my friend says it doesn't
Works for a few days....still freezes..but less...and now this morning I was playing the HP OOTP demo...when my xbox shut off..and I got the 3 red lights...I'm not sure if it was a power surge...because I think my TV turned on and off...(On my 1st xbox...my power went out and i had the 3 red lights..but it was fine when the power came back o
So I turn off my xbox...and turn it back on a few seconds later..works fine...just to be safe..I erase the demo and back up my most needed files to my memory card. So then just a few minutse ago..I turn it on...3 red lights...I shut if off...unplug the AV cable...take off the intercooler..plug the AV back in..it works fine
Any ideas of the intercooler could have caused the 3 red lights (I shut it off after a few minutes...not a long time)
So I got the three red lights of death...on my 2nd xbox ..this time Bestbuy thinks its the harddrive because I got a new console..all set to go...with my old HD...i plug it in..and it works for about..30 seconds...then 3 red lights..and so i have to go get a new HD (losing EVERYTHING) and i was wondering if its possible to import my GT over....so is it?
