Oh man, I just dropped my Nintendo DS lite. It was a good 3 or 4 feet off the ground. Good thing it still works, though. No problems so far... it still turns on, shoulder buttons still work, speakers still works, the touch screen still works. I haven't tested the wifi capabilities yet, if that was affected. I was happy to know that my DS didn't suffer any damage at all. That's one sturdy Nintendo device.
It's a good thing Nintendo still makes sturdy portables and devices in general. I have read this article about the Nintendo DS lite being flushed on the toilet and yet still works after a quick dry-off. Or how they seem to dropped their GBA or SP or DSes and still find the device work.
