if this was true.. to many moving parts... that means easy to break. Drop it when playing and you'll see the top screen cracked or removed from the body, blood everywhere... its horrible. just horrible..
i still buy GBA games for my DS, just because i want to play those games. I cant scratch the itch of playing those games even though they have a DS equivalent.
i'm still enjoying my DS. The DS sales is still strong, and I doubt that Nintendo will release a competing product. But if Nintendo is planning to release a new handheld console, it would be different from the DS. Just a fact, Nintendo didn't include the DS in the GameBoy line because if the DS fails, it wouldn't damage the good reputation of the GameBoy. They may do the same with the DS.
