[QUOTE="Artosa"]Warcraft is a rip off warhammer, warhammer has been around since the early 80'sNikalai_88
How so?
compare the original orc models to those from the early Warcraft games and consider the fact that the origins of Warhammer were based around humanity fighting against greenskins. Im not saying that Warhammer is entirely original (especially not Wood Elves which are pretty much torn straight from LOTR) but they have 25 years of history on the topic which is an entire decade more than Warcraft.
[QUOTE="Beelzebufo"][QUOTE="onuruca"]what is your psu? it might be the problem or the fan might not be working
Penguin_dragon
What's psu?
Power Supply Unit.
Ah I thought it might have been, I'm not sure but its a Dell PC and it will be 5 years old this summer, is that likely to be a problem? Its set on 230v, I'm in the UK if that makes a difference on what the power settings should be and its an AGP card. I'm pretty sure the fan is working because XFX said that the card was working fine.
There's absolutely no need for bluray PC games. Games could still come on CDs.RK-Mara
its true, the only reason games are on DVD now is because its fiddly having to switch between 4 different cds trying to install something, games just arent big enough to warrant the use of bluray

[QUOTE="Bond007uk"][QUOTE="planbfreak4eva"]look there is already blu ray drives, and there are graphic cards with hdmi ports...so why not make bly ray games? look you cannot experience 1080p with a dvd9....only with blu ray through hdmi output......so why is there no blu ray pc games?Twisted-Ice-God
Yet another person who thinks this 'High Definition' thing is new. I was playing half life 2 on my PC in 2004 with 1280x1024 resolution (thats higher than 720p). If your monitor supports it you can go even higher 1920x1200 if you like (thats 230,000 pixels more than 1080p).
PC games don't run from Discs like console games therefore they can be spanned over multiple discs to be installed and run from the hard drive. You don't need an HD disc format to run games in HD.
The PC version of Call of Duty 4 comes on one DVD for the PC and yet unlike its PS3 counterpart it can be run at 1920x1200 native, no upscaling.
exactly, why doesnt everyone see things so clearly
because there monitors are too small? i dont know but i know that high definition cameras have been around for a lot longer than high definition television and that is why films such as the matrix are being released in HD, its becuase thats how they were filmed, and the only reason that HD didnt make it TV earlier is because no one gives a crap when they are sat the other side of the room and the image blends into one anyway.
