It's getting made, like it or not. There have been a ton of rumors about it centering around a female Belmont, there being no whip, etc. Paul W.S. Anderson (responsible for Mortal Kombat, Resident Evil, Alien Vs Predator, and the newly released Death Race remake) is set to produce. He was on G4's Attack of the Show! last week to stump for Death Race, and was asked about the Castlevania movie. After joking about there being no whip, no castle and it being a romantic comedy, Anderson stated that the movie will center around Trevor and "has so much whipping it could be an S&M movie."
