Album: Sonic Firestorm

This is the album that first got me into Dragonforce. More specifically, the song "Fury of the Storm" was what originally got me into Dragonforce. This album is so fast, and has so much spirit you can't help but love it. The vocals are great if you enjoyed Valley of the Damned, if you haven't listend to that album you may want to sample some stuff before spending money on this one because his vocal sty*le isn't for everyone. He's a bit more dynamic in octave levels this time around which I personally find to be an improvement. This album is absolutely filled to the brim with energy, and you can feel it when you listen to it. The drumming and bass are tight and bring out some creative stuff. The guitar work is even more fast paced than in Valley of the Damned. My favorite tacks on the album are "Fury of the Storm", "Soldiers of the Wastelands", and "Once In a Lifetime". If you're looking to get into Dragonforce this is probably the best place to start. This still remains my faovrite Dragonforce album.

Bottom Line: An Insanely fast, and insanely awesome album, 5/5 :D.
