Wow. Just, wow.

I really really didn't get on with Fallout 3, I put about 12 hours into the game, but didn't like the setting, the story or the gameplay. Which was a shame as i'd read so many positive things about it, i felt like i was playing a totally different game to reviewers and my friends, so it got traded in pretty quickly.

Reviews definitely play a big part of my purchase choices, currently a student so don't have a huge amount of disposable income, so its unlikely i'll buy a game 1st day anyway, and to get something fairly new its going to have to have at least a good review on ign and some decent player reviews really.

It's probably the best Spidey game to date so if you're a fan then you should go for it.

It's not the longest game ever but you can play as red or black spidey and it should be pretty cheap to buy now.

i'll probably use it for looking at photo's as my tv is bigger than my laptop screen, so could be useful. depends on how easy it is to access/use.

how come no one has mentioned the Monkey Island games!? i think 3 (curse of?) is my favourite, hopefully they or a new one will turn up on XBLA, especially if stuff like the rerelease of sam and max goes down well.

for more recent games castle crashers had some chuckle worthy moments, and the LEGO games are really funny, childish humour i know, but it is lego lol.
