Good day everybody, I'll admit that I'm partially at a loss for how to begin; this is my first post, let alone blog post, on a site like Gamespot and it is a tad bit nerve wracking to write something here. I'm not expecting much to begin with (I'll be celebrating if I even get one view from this post), but there is no harm in posting and if someone enjoys it then hey, bonus. I'd like to start off by outlining the direction I envision this blog going. Being a gamer, there will naturally be posts on topics relating to our favorite pass time. However, I'm looking to do more with this blog than just state why I liked or disliked a game or rant about my opinion on the latest gaming news. I'd like to also use the blog to relate to my other interests and career related activities. To that end, I'll also throw up topics that relate to my research, science, conservation, nature and whatever else tickles my fancy. With luck, some people will take up an interest and perhaps discuss their perspectives, seek to learn more about the topic at hand, or just enjoy reading the posts. That pretty much wraps this up. In the next few days I hope to post a piece about my current life and the research I do on my path to getting my next degree.
