Aeris' death (of course), and, when I was younger, I watched my brother beat the game Totally Radd!!! for the original Nintendo and I've been told that I bawled my eyes out while watching the ending, haha!

I'm looking forward to FFXIII, Diablo 3 (maybe not this year), Bioshock 2, and Mass Effect 2. I already have more than enough games to play right now though thanks to the massive amount that came out this holiday season.
