Hello players! This is my first ever post here and I hope to be one of many!
I'll talk about a game that I'm playing when I have nothing else to do, or I forgot my actual favorite game at home (that is Chrono Trigger for DS by the way).
Master of Monster Lair is strategy like RPG game with some interesting things, but I usually get sleepy when playing it
The game is centered in a boy who have no profession to attend to so he is asked to take care of a dungeon he is meant to build with a magic talking shovel. Some funny storyline can be found in between boring subjects and repetitive gameplay. More than once I was forced to build paths so I could go and kill the same monster over and over to hope find and item needed to complete quest.
Beside that, the major plot of the player is find food so the magic store guy might stop being a creep and start working on some new spells.
The action is very limited and slow. I almost slept a few times pressing repeatedly A so I could get on with business.
The only way to grow your character is to feed him right. Some foods can give different status modifiers so you can build a character as you like according to what kind of food you (can) give him.
As I expended some hard earned money on it, I'll play a little longer. Then I back and tell a little more about it.
