Just turned mine on (10:15pm eastern) and it's not working either. It's a 60gig model, I haven't gotten any error codes or anything, it just says that I can't sign into the PS Network. I didn't try to play any games, look at trophies or put my theme back on tho.

Just thought that I would start by asking here for info.

Ok, first of all, like the topic states. I am not asking anyone if they would like to game share.

I game share with my friends and I currently have all my spaces filled. Here's where the problem lies. One of my friends recently had to get a new PS3. But, when he did that he didn't deactivate me off of his old PS3. Now, when he tries to get back onto mine, it says that I have no more spaces to give out. Is there anyway I can deactivate his old PS3? (which has been shipped off to where ever EB sends them)

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Got it working. Held the power button down when I started it up and then restored the PS3 back to default from the menu that came up. Lost all my saves and what not. But have a working PS3 again. Well, back to the ole' drawing board. Thanks to everyone who contributed.

I can't even do anything. The controller doesn't turn on. The PS3 XMB/icon screen doesn't come up. It just stays at this wavy line with a red background. I tried googling my problem but have come back with nothing. Thanks tho. If anyone else could help, I would really appreciate it.

I am barely ever online with my PS3, and I haven't been online for awhile. So, I fire up my PS3 late last week and I decide that I want to check out the PS Store. But, I have to do an update first before I can go online. So, I do the update and the PS3 restarts. I wait. And wait. But it just goes to the start screen where it says "SONY COMPUTER ENTERTAINMENT" and it has that wave background before it loads my own background. It just stays there. My controllers won't even turn on.

So... does anyone know how to fix this? know whats wrong with it? I appreciate anyone who helps me out.

Froze for me a few times. But another thing I am having problems with is being disconnected from the network. I have to shut my PS3 off for a bit and then it'll work once I come back on. Weird.

OH. Forgot to mention that it does the disconnected from network thing when I enter a room and ready up.

Yes, I can't stand everything that you all mentioned above. But, another thing is... when people FREAK OUT on other people cause they're just A) playing for the first time or B) not very good. It's only a game people. Not like we're getting paid to play.
