I'd have to agree with Zorlac666, Hellgate: London is a great choice. A lot of the probs they had at launch have been fixed with patches and you have 3 different groups of characters to choose from. Swords, guns or the cabalist (focus energy weap or summoner) Play through the single player or jump straight into the multi-player. I played the first vampire game, Vampire the Masquerade: Redemption, so I didn't care much for Bloodlines, but you might. Amazingly enough I found WoW incredibly fun and most of my experience previously had been FPS games. Good luck in finding the games you enjoy. :)

Wow. That was incredibly sexist. (Had to get that out of the way. :P ) My first introduction into gaming was Quake III Arena. My then boyfriend thought it would be good to have a girlfriend that was a little more understanding to the number of hours he put into the game. What he didn't realize is that I took to it like a fish to water. Guess he should have followed your advice and let me pick my own games instead of playing his. But maybe I have a more competitve spirit than some. I was soon kicking his butt on a regular basis. I joined a clan and was competing. He told me I wasn't spending enough time in our relationship. He would sit and watch me play in matches. It was annoying to hear him. We broke up. Did I do something wrong?
BTW, your story was very well written and very funny. I rewrote it to fix my problem. "How to Geekify your boyfriend 101" Thanks for all your help! ;)
