Gearsgamer, in answer to your question, no the rattling will probably not hurt it for a few years or perhaps not at all. I got the rattling maybe a month after I opened the box. Maybe it was there the whole time and I never noticed I'm not really sure. All I can tell you is that mine was a first shipment 360 that had rattling and it lasted almost two years. Get a warranty on it from the store where you bought it so you can exchange it the same day it breaks, if it ever does.
I'm so lucky. I bought my 360 one month after it came out and just had a problem with it for the first time. I had a best buy warranty and they let me exchange it for a HALO 3 EDITION FOR FREE!!!!
Halo, Halo 2, Call of Duty 2, Call of Duty 3, (Almost) Call of Duty 4, Bioshock, Gears of War. I'm relatively new to shooters, I played Halo: Combat Evolved for the first time when I bought my 360 on December 22, 2005. This was my first shooter so my list is short.
So, I was over my friends house this weekend and his dad bought Rock Band for himself. There were two of my friends his dad, his brother and his wife, and we all took turns playing and ended up going 'til about three in the morning. (Even his wife was playing with us for a good few hours!) When we had played a demo in Best Buy people started clapping at the end when she was singing. All I know is that there's never been a game that everyone loves to play together just like this. Normally his wife would just watch us play other games or work on her laptop but Rock Band has given his whole family an opportunity to really enjoy a video game together. The best party games that have neared the party status of Rock Band that I can think of are fighting games such as Tekken and Marvel Vs. Capcom 2. Post the best party games that you've ever played that are almost as fun or more fun than Rock Band to play.
