May i remind all you sony haters that the 360 has to this day even (yes hard to believe *sarcasm*) many BC issues.Everyone is complaining about the cost of the PS3 and want it to go down bot when sony do something that will not in any way probably affect their experience with the PS3 but will result in a more probable price cut they go all "OMG teh US has teh emotion enginz!!!!omg emulator iz teh suxxxxxxorz.masterchief rulz!".I mean that's just wrong.And why is Gamespot writing such an article about this issue that is so negative??!!!I mean when the 360 was released nobody at gamespot wrote about how "disastruous" the very limited backwards compatibility was and instead wrote countless articles abot how this will be fixed over time, how updates will make the xbox "teh best" and so on.I don't want to say it, but this is very fanboyish.Read it all and then you'll know what i mean.Plus this emulator will make PS2 games upscale to 1080p some devs say, which i really don't consider negative.not at all...

Seriously now who gives a damn about this backwards compatibility issue?like nearly half of the gamespot editors that wrote in this article, this may mean a soner price drop for the PS3.The 360 had the same issues with backwards compatibility and did it bother anyone that they had to update their machine to play Psychonauts for example?NO!I'm not buying a PS3 to play PS2 games on it!I'm buying it to play next gen sweetness not 2004 "classics".I have a PS2 for that.
