how do you know it doesn't support a 3 ghz p4 when theres a 2ghz p4 in there right now. i thought if a motherboard support like one cpu from like the FX series it would be able to run them all

Alright yoyo thanks, and btw mastershake or whatever it wasn't about saving up i CAN get another computer its just i don't wanna spend thousands of dollars on something stupid and wasteful like a computer where i could just spend a little and still get what i want. i'm not gonna drop 2 thousand dolalrs or something thats worth half the amount just the next year... and there lies the reason of my post

Well my birthday is coming around and I really wanted to get back into source but my old computer that can play it had a bunch of problems not worth mentioning. Anyway, I had one of those big black dells having around, the 3000 series or something I dunno but unfortunatly, it doesn't support a lot of modern techs such as PCI-E or even AGP. So... I looked at what it had, 256 mb or ram, i put in 2 sticks of good memory for about 1.25 gbs. The processor was pentium 4 and it was a 2.0 ghz model. Figured that was kind of crappy and considering prices now a day, i purchased a 3.0 ghz prescott. Figured that'd be good now a really big issue still remained, i had a crappy onboard intel crap something i dunno, bottom line... it sucked. So I checked out the best pci cards available. I bought a Radeon 2400PRO 256 MB 64 PCI card. It seems to support everything I need as in probably the best pci card available as of now. Though I'm not going to be naive and expect a million fps off the card, can I expect good playability maintaining atleast 50 fps in most games. also, would WoW do well with this system. and lastly, would overclocking be a good option to help performance because i've had my hand with oc'ing

Now the problem is whenever I enter the serial it says its already in use! What am I supposed to do now this is so annoying. Please tell me there is a way I can disable the key or something. Can someone give me a number or something to call Microsoft with?

You can just download rivatuner which is pretty nice I think. Go to guru3d.com and get it there. Once you get there you just can simply just adjust the clock frequencies. It has temp monitors, fail safes, 3d overide settings. Its basically a cracked out version of what nvidia gives you.
