1.) He will not be the first and only/last ps3 player with a modded controller, plenty of people use them, especially on CoD and MW. 2.) You CAN NOT get banned for using a modded controller because there is absolutely no way to trace what kind of controller you are using, but you probably will get labeled as a cheater which will make everyone want to kick you out (if it was a mod that you did to your ps3 console that would be a different story). 3.) If he wants to cheat let him it doesn't actually prove that he is better than anyone else, and he just ends up cheating himself because he cant compete with people that may be better than himself.
