So you actually think one hit by a fighter would knock him out?I said could knock him out. The guy is still human and a smaller one at that. If he get's hit to the face by a 250+ pound dude, he's going to be on the ground, unconscious. The guy doesn't have magic powers. His speed and "toughness" doesn't prevent getting knocked out.[QUOTE="Bitter_Altmer"][QUOTE="Pirate700"]Even if he was able to do his thing, if he got hit once by some of today's fighters he likely be knocked out. It doesn't matter how tough he is if he's unconcious.

Yeah... but to be honest, he was the best pound for pound martial artsfighter, which would mean be quite unfair if he was going to go up against any old MMA fighter. We'd have to be specific about what fighter he'd be up against.

[QUOTE="Pirate700"]The dudes he'd be fighting outweigh him by 100-150 pounds. He would bounce off these guys like a fly. Size DOES matter. Bruce lee was about incredible form and discipline. Today's fighters would snap him in half like a twig.
No. Lee, as well as form and discipline, combined these with incredible strength unlike martial artists before him. He was amazingly strong if you'd actually bother to read about him. He was also incrediblyfast as everyone knows. He'd make bits of those MMA guys regardless of his size. He also wasn't as light as you think, as his body was nearly all muscle which weighs up to three times more than fat of course.Even if he was able to do his thing, if he got hit once by some of today's fighters he likely be knocked out. It doesn't matter how tough he is if he's unconcious. So you actually think one hit by a fighter would knock him out?well hold on one sec. bruce lee's style of fighting was actually sort of MMA. it was called jeet kune do. i dont think bruce lee would get eatin alive in the ufc. he would actually do pretty good. champion? no.[QUOTE="Revolution316"]
[QUOTE="Pirate700"]He really would. Any of the really big fighters would obliterate him with one hit. The guy would be nothing more than an angry poodle to a lot of fighters.

Lol at the uneducated saps saying Ali or UFC fighters could defeat Bruce Lee.
If anyone with even half a brain was asked the that question, they'd say Bruce Lee could kill those guys.
Why would a non-irish person celebrate st. patrick's day? They are celebrating ONE day a year and some jerks were going out of their way to ruin it. Which side do i take? Hmmmm...Ninja-Hippo
It seems to be, being Irish myself, that plenty celebrate St. Patricks day that aren't even Irish. I have no idea why, probably the alcohol culture of Ireland being taken advantage of.
As for pride in country, I don't agree with it much but I have no problem with people doing it. I mean, I'm proud of my Irish upbringing and the influence the culture has on me. But apart from that I see no sense in being proud of what Irish people before me have accomplished, I can only appreciate it.
[QUOTE="Big_Bad_Sad"]They have wore the shirts with the intent of offending and annoying Mexicans. I would have sent them home.LJS9502_basicIt's the US...we have a right to display the symbol of OUR country. If anyone doesn't like it.....they can move.:) Pride in ones country is idiotic and ignorant.
Your brain is but your body is not. Unless you're mentally paralyzed as well.I thnk people need to understand that while you're "paralyzed" you're not actually awake. It just feels like you are.
